And it also appears to be clocked slower than other 9700pro's, instead of 325/620, manufacturer web site says 300/540.

I got a 9700pro when it first came out, and I've had nothing but problems with it. Maybe you'll get lucky, but I'd steer clear of it and get a 9800 or an nVidia card instead.

I agree. The 9700 was notorious for its issues. ATI isn't very good at making graphics cards. That's probably why they are on the verge of bankruptcy.
