Radeon 9700 questions

Since Radeon has brought out the 9800 PRO, the price of the 9700 is down to around 300 bucks, and hopefully should fall further. Has anyone had experiece with this 9700 Pro? I have windows 98SE installed. CAN I RUN THIS GPU WITH WINDOWS 98 SE OS???

you can run it with 98, get the non pro for 200. and you are getting ripped if you pay 300 for 9700 pro

I paid 279.00 for my 9700 Pro back in April ! I'm runnning the 3.4 cats, no issues. Playing BF1942, Desert Comat (DC), Ravenshield, MOHAA, Spearhead, and GTA Vice City.

No texture problems with BF1942 using 3.2 or 3.4's

like i said in your other thread, you may want to consider the 9800 NON PRO for $270 as people here have been able to overclock it to 9800 pro standards
