Radeon 9700 Pro -- how do I turn on TruForm ?....

ATI was bragging about their TruForm not long ago.. TruForm is of course a way to increase the polygon count in games and other graphing software without taking any hit in performance.. It makes objects "bumpy" by sub-dividing polygons into.. more polygons, thus making a edgy sphere look more round.

Question: how the freak do I turn this thing on using the latest Catalyst drivers and the 9700 Pro?!

Thanks.

Turn it on in the drivers first, then go to any game that supports it (Serious Sam, RTCW, etc) and enable it there too.

Yeah, that's what I'm asking: how/where in the drivers do you turn it on? There is nothing about TruForm in the drivers. I'm using the latest downloaded from ATI.com

Thanks..

Caution, it causes lockups in some games for a lot of people. UT2003 seems to be a common one where it causes problems.

Come on guys, it's not like this is hard:

Display Properties->Settings->Advanced->Direct3D

The last line in the main box:

"TRUFORM" "Always Off" "Application Preference"
