Radeon 9700 drivers and 3dMark freeze

I been unable to run 3dMark thru to completion after driver release 6119.

Is anyone else having this problem???

I've just ignored it for tha last 2 driver releases ... but ... now ... on the last driver release .. I see a greatly improved frame rates ... until it freezes on 'Nature' or Bump mapping.

I'm not overclocking the card, and I'm using the control panel driver defaults after installation.
 
I just got a Radeon 9500 Pro and it freezes at the begining of the Nature benchmark to.
tried reinstalling 3dmark and I only had a 250w power supply so I put in a new 300w ATI sugests a 300w p/s but that diden't help iether.
Any Answers out There?
