Radeon 9500 problems

i tried using wizzards softmod to get my radeon 9500 to perform like a 9700, everything successful, benchmarks were good but I got a line near the bottom of the screen of small black square dots, they dont appear all the time though, they're there sometimes and someimes they're not there. I tried increasing agp voltage to 1.6, i tried enabling 2xAA. 4xAA, 6xAA. 16 bit z-buffering. however I couldn't find an opengl and direct x folder in my registry when i tried to disable Hierarchical-Z. so i couldn't disable Hierarchical-Z
 
Checkerboards, your card has artifacts I'm sad to say. Its a 50/50 chance of getting a card with no Artifacts. I was some of the lucky few with no artifacts. Using Wizzards softmod also.
 
I dont think anyone else has artifacts like i do tho, because my dots are in a line going across my screen. All the pictures of the artifacts i've seen were all over the place and random.
