radeon 9500 pro problem--HELP!

I just installed the radeon 9500 pro in my computer. At first it loaded teh drivers and appeared to run ok, but the display adapter specifics in the display properties were all "unknown". I installed the lates catalyst drivers from ati.com, and now my computer won't load any profiles at login. The only way I get the system started is in safe mode. Can anyone help me out?

While in safe mode, uninstall the drivers from the control panel along with any other drivers from your previous card. Then try to reinstall after a restart. Some here would suggest that you make a clean install of Windows when you change video cards, so you might want to keep that in mind. Peace.
