Radeon 9000PRO fan.

For about 2-3 days now the fan on my 9000PRO has been emitting a squeaking sound.

I purchased it about two months ago and have had no problems with it (from NewEgg). I'm not an avid gamer, so I don't need a high-end graphics card for daily use.

This isn't the exact video card I own, but it shows the exact fan setup/size/etc.

Could it just be that the fan needs lubricated, or that the case needs to be set on its side?

The bearings shouldn't go out so soon, but ya, lubricating the fan with a drop of oil should clear it up. I'm not sure about the ATI fans, but on others the spot to put the oil is under the sticker.
