radeon 9000 question?

so... i'm on a t40 with a radeon 9000. I'm just wondering how well it should perform? I try to play madden2004 on it, but it runs real choppy even in 640x480. Kinda sucks i cant use the catalyst drivers and have to stick to ibm OEM drivers.... i THINK.

anyone know a fix? I'm just assuming that i should at least play decently in 640x480 res.

It definitely should.

I know there's a hack/workaround in order to let you use Catalysts on mobile chipsets. Ask Mr Google.
