radeon 8500 vs.radeon 8500 oem-big difference?

hi everyone..im in a bit of a hole now...
i want to buy a radeon 85oo retail but i am wondering if it wouldnt be better to buy the lower-clocked oem and just overclock it to original setting(275/275);
im just wondering if it will then perform the same?

Sigh... it's generally better for a question like this to do a search in the forums and see if it has been answered. It has, several times over.

The OEM and Retail cards are the exact same aside from the OEM having a bit slower memory and the core clocked slower. IF you can get it to Retail speeds it would perform the exact same as a retail card.
