My friend has an ATI Radeon 8500 retail and is using the TV out to a 27" televison and also to a 15" monitor.
When ever he turns on his computer WITH the s-video plugged into the back of the radeon, the computer doesn't load windows. He has to turn on his computer so windows loads, THEN plug the s-video cable into the video card and use the TV.
We tried 2 different XP drivers, we just reformatted his hard drive, but his computer just can't load windows with the TV-out activated.
Windows XP Professional
Pentium4 1.8
Soyo Dragon Ultra
Nothing is overclocked, his PSU is 425 watts and he only has a CD rom drive. Any Ideas?
