Radeon 8500 Refresh Static??

So when I reformatted today, I installed the newest catalyst drivers from ati. I noticed that now whenever I click on Display Properties and go to advanced, there is a line of static that quickly drops down from the top of the monitor to the bottom, like a refresh line. So far that's the only time I ever see this static refresh line. Anyone else ever have problems like this?

yep...same thing here. Happens when you click on "Advanced" in the "Settings" window for desktop properties. Using the latest Catylyst 2.2 drivers here. Was thinking that it could be my card.

Well, now that we're not alone, does anyone know how to fix the problem? or is it something that we shouldn't worry about?
