Rising Rich announced its ATI RADEON 8500 and 7500 based cards and some othe products based on ATI graphics chips. And... check the prices:

Radeon 8500, 64MB DDR, DVI, TV Out, Hydra Vision - $190.00

Radeon 7500, 64MB DDR, DVI, TV Out, hydra Vision - $125.00

Radeon VE 100, 64MB SDR, TV Out, Hydra Vision - $43.00

Radeon VE 100, 32MB SDR, TV Out, Hydra Vision - $39.90

Rage 128 Pro, 32MB SDR - $26.00

But I wonder what is the frequency of the core/mem.

I saw this on Rage3d.com

<< Also ATI is now selling the Radeon 7500 and 8500 online. It's a great price $375.82 and $250.91 Canadian respectively. You can check that out here. Thanks Nathan. People are finding great and I mean great prices for Radeon 8500 boards around online stores. Can't wait till they deliver! >>

<< when is it supposed to be release?

32 or 64 mb?
>>

probably right there thats what there known for 🙂

so they want to keep it all to themselves 😀

ya never heard that company. i bet the clock speed will be 250/250 (still not bad but worse than 275/275 of the reg ATI VERSION) but as long as its actually a good card for $200 cant go wrong really 🙂

😛 $375/$250
7500/8500

Just seems plain backwards to me...

<< I didn't know the 8500 could be made Hydra-Vision... am I the only one who thinks they made an error?

Shnak

Why couldn't it? 😕

<< How much will the 8500DV cards be? >>

How much do you have in your wallet right now? Okay, well, if you want this card, you'll probably need a lot more. 🙂 I think it's gonna be like $400, right? It's basically a Radeon 8500 + AIW features...you do the math. 🙁

card are also being made by Powermagic while i've never owned a Powermagic card, for $43 i'm not investing an uncomfortable amount of cash.. hopefully both these brands will make it stateside..

<< Why not spend the extra $3.10 for more RAM? >>

hehe... your right dude..... 64MB radeon VE it is😛

I read on Pricewatch in one of the vendor's comment's section (when you do a search for the radeon 8500) that the OEM version of the 8500 is made by a 3rd party. Don't know if that's true or not. The price for the retail box 8500 was I believe about $250 US though, which seems pretty darn good 🙂

I'm going nuts trying to decide between the Radeon 8500 and the Gainward Cardexpert Powerpack GeForce 3 card. On the one hand, the Radeon looks like the better card IF they do a good job on the drivers. From past performance though, that is questionable. Sigh.
