Radeon 8500 and Geforce 2 GTS 32MB

Hey....i'm thinking of upgrading my current Geforce to Radeon 8500...will i see any significant improvement?
also at provantage it's selling for $245.52 is it a retail version?....thanx

as long as your cpu isn't limiting it, there should be a massive difference in speed. Looks like the retail, but it doesn't mention if its LE or a the clock speed.

i have a P4 1.3...so does the word 'massive' apply here...
and the manufacturer part # at provantage is 100-431001 which matches the one at ATI website...so i would assume it's not LE?

1.3 P4s aren't that fast, the 8500 won't be fully used, but it'll be a big boost.
