(shamelessly) Ripped from FW...

CompUSA sale from Sunday, March 3rd - 9th

RADEON 8500 Video Card 64MB: $299 - $100 IR - $50 MIR = $149.99

lower if you PM to some online place with Amex Blue. Prices are plummeting, so there's no telling how low it will be within the 60 day PM limit.

SKU 286896 Link (sale not good for another week and a half)

$150.00??? What the deuce...that's really cheap. Too bad they probably only carry 1 or 2 of these in store, just like the Clie 610C deal they had a few weeks ago.

New ATI 128 meg card coming out in the next month or so. So I'm gonna pass. Though I really wanna upgrady my GeForce2 GTS

$299 + tax.

PM compuplus RIGHT AWAY ($160) to get $139 (do they PM tax too?)

*EDIT*.. didn't see IR part.. damm 😛

MIR $150

$199
-$39
-$50 (IF MIR comes.. COMPUSA MIR really is low level)
----------
tax+ $110 .. WTF ???? LOL 😀

Wow, larciel. I like the way you think. It is so completely dishonest to do double PMs, but... $11 for Radeon 8500???

theres another thread regarding radeon 8500 retail at BB for $199..so if you can get a scan of that price tag...
$299
-$100 PM
-$100 IR
-$50 MIR
_________
$49 AR for ati radeon 8500

Wow thats a good deal, I am glad i sold my 8500 when i did and only lose a few bucks, I will wait till this sale and pick up another one.

nope it doesn't work that way.

because it's IR (instant rebate) you pay $199 + tax at compusa also .. thus price is same..

Hey, is this the All in wonder Radeon 8500? Also, what is the difference between an AIW and a reg 8500? The price is alot more expensive.

No, it's the standard 64mb 8500 card. See the link in the first post for detailed specs.

The AIW has addition video-input and video editing capabilities (this one does not). However this card does have a TV-out (to output DVDs etc. to your tv) and DVI (flat panel support).

Now I have no regrets at all at canceling my Dell order in October. I wonder if I would even have the card yet from Dell?

If you haven't used the $50 Gateway coupon (tb), you can get the 8500 for about the same with out needing a rebate ($176 + $24 something (AOE 2 for $25) +free shipping (over $199) - $50 coupon (-$20 AOE MIR) = ~ $125 for the 8500 (+$24 something).

At least, that's the way I read the other thread. Just search for gateway (or maybe 8500).

D.

Is this a CompUSA rebate or a ATI rebate? If it's ATI might be able to use it with one of the other deals running around.

If thats a manf. rebate then you can get it now at BB and later price match it @ $199 +10% when the sale comes out.

Even better..for you guys with the $30 BB GF4 coupon.

I'd be pissed if I hadn't already bought an open box one there last year for $99. 🙂

Can anyone answer if the rebate is strictly CompUsa? I jumped on the Gateway deal yesterday. 155 shipped. That rebate would make this deal even hotter.

Almost definitely CompUSA only.

manko,
Where is the rebate information? I went to CompUSA and searched using the 8500's sku and it didn't show any MIR's available.
