Radeon 8500 128mb card not working :\

Ok, so I shouldn't say it isn't working, because I am able to run 3Dmark on it and everything runs just fine, but as soon as I try playing a game, it just hangs and I have to restart my system. Here are the specs

Intel 1.6a
P4B533-E
Kingston 2700 ddr
80gb wd special edition

Running Win xp pro

I have no idea what could be causing this. I've tried running the games at different resolutions and it still will not work. I have all the latest drivers from ati but no go. Anyone have any ideas?

OK, I am an AMD fan, and I don't know Intel systems, but here are a few pertinant questions. Is your Bus at stock speed ? Is anything overclocked ? Is your system stable otherwise ? Is your memory at CAS 2.5 ? I have that video card and it is rock solid. Also, if you can run 3dmark, I would guess that there is some other problem, so don't give up, as the card must be good. What is your 3dmark score ?

FSB is set to 135, putting me at 2.1ghz, but I've been having this problem since yesterday when I hadn't oc'd yet. My 3d mark score was 8500. Its got to be a setting somewhere... I'm trying to play TFC. I don't know if you're familiar with it, but it crashes on me right when its loading up the server game.

I have all the latest drivers, and I'm pretty sure the over clock has nothing to do with it since it was doing this prior to the overclock

It can't possibly be rma. I can play the 3dMark demo just fine, but for some reason it crashes my computer when I start TFC or Empire Earth. I downloaded and ran a demo of Starcraft, and that also ran just fine, so I'm thinking its a stupid setting somewhere. Now whenever I try to play TFC in single player mode, right as the game is starting to load, the whole game dissappears and I end up right at my desktop as if nothing had happened.
