Its pretty close, but an OC 7950 is still pretty strong, not worth the hassle unless you want a specific feature from NV, Physx or "better drivers"?

don't really care about either .... and "better drivers" make me laugh ..... if there will be less then 10% performance gain then not worth it .... sadly still no mantle .... maybe better wait for release ?

If you're considering get rid of a 7950 you should not trade it for a ~$250 card, but sell it for $350 (or more) to a Litecoin miner and buy something better.

A GTX 670 even exchange for a 7950 is a rip off given what the 7950 is going for in the used market right now.

... also 670 ftw is a lot hotter as i know ...

Would have to disagree with this....vs a reference 7950 boost anyway. if you have an aftermarket card then yeah probably so, but the 670 ftw temps/acoustics are fine since it has the 680 pcb/cooler

OP: Keep the 7950 or sell to a miner and get something better.

While those are better cards yes, with the mining inflated prices right now you wont get a good deal on them. Besides an OC 7950 is pretty close to 7970 GHZ/280x anyway. IMHO I think if you can hang on to the 7950 a little longer and wait for Mantle numbers you are going to be happy with BF4 performance.

TLDR: Keep the 7950 for BF4

Thank you .... i will keep it then and wait for mantle .... hope 20-25% performance boost and that will be enough for me .. don't need more at 1080p

Good decision --- overclock that 7950 and you're in great shape for BF4 @1080p (Ultra).

Or you can trade the 7950 straight up for a GTX 770. They're about equal in market value.

Your card is worth like $350, if you want to trade go for it but get some cash as well, or sell it out right, and get an even faster Nvidia card.

I'm going to have to side with everyone telling you to sell the 7950. I sold my Sapphire 7950 boost on Amazon for 459 two weeks ago. Turned around and bought a GTX 780 Classified that overclocks like crazy.

Right now is a great time to sell. You should consider the option.

Guys .. Problem is that in our country ( called Georgia) .... people don't respect Radeon cards .... so they prefer nvidia and i can't sell it for 350$ or even 300$ .... that is the reason why i bougth it for only 220$ ... people here throw radeon cards away and don't understand that nvidia card are too overpiced ..... fer example gtx 760 costs here 350$ ... so ....

So the entire country is a NVidia fanboy - that's both amusing and sad at the same time. In that case you are probably better off keeping the 7950 then. The performance difference between it and the 670 isn't that great and you get an extra gig of RAM on the Radeon.

The 7950 also overclocks like a champ and will soon support Mantle, which will boost performance in BF4 when they add it to the game. Depending on the boost it gets from Mantle, some people in your country may end up wishing they had an AMD card like you!

Yeah - Its feeling like they aren't going to make the "end of December" deadline. With all the turmoil at DICE right now, I don't think anyone would be surprised. You'd think they would give us some kind of teaser about the performance boost by now.....makes me wonder if they are way behind schedule....

I would say stick with the 7950, perhaps OC it. Hopefully mantle will come soon :D
