Radeon 7500 + WinXP Pro + 6015 drivers = slow start menu?

I was using the 3XXX series and everything was fine, then I upgraded to the 6015 and all of a sudden my winXP start menu is painfully slow... Everything else is fine though. I think the alpha blending got transfered to software rendering because my CPU usage spikes whenever I'm in the start menu. Anyone else experience this? Anyone have a solution?

Mine seems to work fine.. It was a little slower.. I dont think I personally noticed mine being slow with the previous drivers..

Anyway, I just turned off the Shadows from under the menus.. I personally think it looks better, and its a whole lot faster now..

Try this site for some FINE Win XP Radeon Drivers. This guy does a fine set of modified drivers. Click on the Radeon button on the left of the page. You'll be happy I think...
