Just getting a thread up for this. Navi 24 will ride... Q1 2022... ish.

I fugure the 6500XT lands ~5500XT territory for ~$200.

Depends on the pricw sensitivity of the individual market.
I remember back in the day, NV and AMD would each "compete", and there was a card, either NV or AMD, for nearly every $10 price bracket, though "strangely", you would never see AMD and Nv compete at identical prices, usually.

There IS a PCIe AIB with 8GB for the 6500XT (Clamshell) so it's not impossible for it to be done in mobile, though, I suspect that it would harm the power budget.

As for the 6500M in the market, it would seem to underperform the 3050M (higher power versions) and 3050ti. It's going to have to do a good job of being price competitive, slotting in between the 1650 and the 3050ti in the pricing schema to be a worth while purchase.

In some games the difference is brutal.
The bigger frame buffer is what it needed from the beginning, but miners would have scooped all them up. I will look around, as I surmise the extra 4GB changed the PCIE 3.0 numbers radically as well.

The 4GB had it's hot second of relevance to the market conditions. The price needs to be lower now, but it likely won't be, because the 1630, 1050ti, and 1650 are all equally as ridiculously priced.

AMD has a moral obligation to recall all 6500 XT cards and replace them with 8GB RAM since their mining excuse no longer holds. But sadly, there is no way that is happening.

Let's hope 7500 XT has at least 6 GB RAM for the same price and 6500 XT becomes obsolete.
