i have installed a radeon into a computer system i am assembling for an accountant....for 2d quality i choose ATi over what i normally run...anyway...i installed the latest drivers from ati.com and i am unable to change the screen resolution...i can adjust the color but the resolution is locked...any suggestions on how or why this is happening...thanks...btw its set to 640x480
 
i have loaded winMe on this system and her monitor is a gatway vivitron 1776 ....i cant find a driver for this monitor....my monitor is a sony 24''
 
well off a gateway ftp i found a 95 inf.exe that listed a vivtron 17 so i used that....adn then was able to adjust the refresh and the resolution ....but if anyone has a clue to where i might be able to get the proper inf for vivitron 1776 i would appreciate it....for either 98 or me would be even better but apparently for 95 will work as well
