Just picked up one of these marked down babies for my 6400 server. Very nice, for what it does with PCI. Retail, and cheaper than pricewatch...

OD had it at 50, and someone reported here they got it for 30... Mileage may vary I guess.

Looking for the in-existent Apex1500, i saw a bunch of Radeon 7000 64mb AGP at my local Walmart clearanced for $60 each.
It didn't say clearance on the shelf (partly hidden) but they had the price printed on a red sticker.
Is this hot?

I don't think so... Not to thread crap my own thread. :)

As AGP cards you you can get more from a 60 dollar AGP card. But from Walmart its okay I guess. The one I posted is slower than that one, but its PCI, and not many people need PCI video cards anymore so they're more rare. Pricewatch shows the Radeon 32 meg SDR PCI for about 50 bucks shipped. For that you can almost get a GeForce2MX400 64 meg PCI...

ditto on the YMMV. last time there was a "hot deal" on a radeon at a *mart/target store i called a few up and got the kind of responses indicative of a staff who'd never heard the word radeon before.

anyone know if this deal is still going on?

Too bad you missed the CrapUSA deal they had last week on this card. $29 out the door was pretty good since they go for a little more on pricewatch.

Radeon has a new line of cards coming out this summer... This is why we are seeing discounts on some of the older 32 meg pci/agp cards.

The Walmart by me had a 32mb Geforce2MX for $50. Not as cheap, but I think it's a better card.

This may not be the proper place to ask, but . . .
What's a good all-around cheap AGP card for non-gamers (business apps and digital camera usage)?

Yeah, Spanky, it was PCI.

I was shocked. I didn't pick it up, but I might go back today and pick it up.
