Radeon 32 MB from Dell. Will it play VC and such fine? Link inside.

It supports dual monitor and such I see, but I'm wondering if this really is DDR and if I could expect decent framerates compared to the GF line. My little bro has a Geforce 2 MX or GTS, I forget and it's 32MB. Should I switch him over to this.

BTW: I'm not PAYING for it.... I got it for free from a buddy. I'm currently running a straight GF3. It's not better than that right?

It's a Raedon VE and no its not even close to GF3 speed. If I recall correctly it's both slower then the MX and the GTS. Deff slower then the GTS tho. Also if I recall correctly the Raedon VE did use DDR but used a 64-bit bus which basically means its the same speed as 128bit bus SDR

IS this the VE or the LE? I thought it was an LE.... that's what the product number brings up on diff wesites.

well if it is an le it is about on par with a gts, a bit slower i think but if you can enable hyper-z and overclock it well like many can then it stacks up pretty well.
