Radar detector

Recommendations for radar detector??

I'm looking around $150 to $300. I'm not sure if anything below that pricerange is good.

The Valentine One is the BEST radar detector you can buy.
Edit: Try to find a used one for about $300...its worth it man

Agreed, anything other than the V-1 is a waste of money. I had a Whistler, but it was good only for entertainment and impressing teens. I have saved myself from tickets by being alert, especially when they use laser. The Whistler saved me once, and that was the day after I got it, it was useless for the next two years when I always saw the coppers before it went off, and then I just quit using it altogether.
