i'm looking at some yakima racks and i have a couple of question for y'all.

I drive a 2002 nissan sentra with only 126hp, load capacity isn't all that high (850lbs or something), is it worth it to get a rack for it? I'm mainly gonna carry a bike and probably buy one of those really huge baskets so i can put stuff on it. would you recommend tuhle(sp?) or yakima?

A customer of mine has a set of tulle racks for sale up on our bulletin board right now.

Bars mounts and wind deflector for $150. (You will probably have to get the "Clips" for YOUR car though. I think they are set up for the older type gutters)

PM me if you are interested.

My Yakima rack will probably outlive me. I paid around $450 for the whole thing with two steelhead bike mounts. For some reason, I could only find Yakima racks, not Thule, when I was looking. Made it much easier to get new clips when I switched cars later, because a bunch of stores carry Yakima around here.

i figured the loading capacity isn't gonna matter, i'm not gonna drive anything over 80 if i have skis/snowboard/bikes/cargo on top

so me & passenger= total 260ish pounds
i'll have like 590 left over, plenty for other stuff!

i'm gonna have to get my own clip and money shouldn't matter for now... i'm just gonna get it new from a store probably so i get like support and stuff like that and this rack store might install it for free :)
