Now, I play games for fun not to be perfect.

It doesn't seem like it, it seems like you take gaming seriously enough to care about finishing first or second.

So you can't have fun and be competitive at the same time? 😕 That's new to me.

Apparently not 🙁 You've gotta be balls to the wall if you want to be competitive. NO FUN TO BE HAD.

I've heard horror stories about the Halo 3 community and I participate in a match with idiots. This was the first game I played online. I posted this in the PGR4 forum on Xbox.com also and found that I'm not the only one who sees this stupidity.

I had this same fear about Halo 3, but I decided to give it a try. So I bought it and went online and I am sure glad I did. Most, if not all, of the time I'm sans microphone in Lone Wolf ranked matches. I haven't had any problems with people yelling at me or anything and haven't been given any negative reviews. The best part is that you can easily mute any player that is getting too annoying or vulgar.

Wow, when I read it, I was sure you were taking about Forza or GT. PGR is no NFS but it's not exactly a detailed simulator. That's weird that there'd be purists on there.

Meh I stopped playing Forza2 for the same reason.

I was really tired of trying to pass, having the guy in front of me try to run me off the road, we bump and then I get berated for being terrible. It's like hey if you see me coming up, I tell you I'm passing on the left and then you try to run me into the wall you deserve a bump.
