Those are some of the worst movies ever made and they are not even car movies with all of their unrealistic car related antics. Those movies are targeted at the idiotic bling crowd.

Real car movies are ones like Le Mans or Grand Prix, both of which have already been mentioned. Redline 7000 is another decent car movie from the mid 60's. The Cannonball Run and Smokey and the Bandit movies are decent if you are looking for comedy car movies. Gumball Rally is anoither good one if you can find it on TV. Death Race 2000 is another weird but entertaining cult movie from the 70's.
