Why are there no GOOD white running backs in the NFL?
Why are there no GREAT white wide receivers in the NFL?

Why are there no GREAT black quarterbacks in the NFL?
Why are there no GOOD black kickers in the NFL?
Why are there not many GREAT black tight ends in the NFL?

This is just a trend that I see and everyone else I talk to sees as well.

No one has an answer.

Yes, there are exceptions to the rule, but generally, all of the above statements are true.

Edited the TE spot to say "not many".

Generally, faster players end up moved to either wide receiver or running back depending on size/strength. A more important question might be "When was the last time anyone was impressed with a white guy's time in the 40?" Every time I've ever heard about some shockingly fast time in the 40 it's always been a black guy.

edit: I'm sure there are exceptions, but the topic is based on generalizing.

I generally see this as well.

I think all of the slow positions are for white guys.

You can replace all six questions with Asian in there and it works out too.

The fast white guys are all WR's (Kevin Curtis, Wes Welker, Brandon Stokley pre-injury)

There is no conspiracy here, people play the position they're good at. I hate to break it to you, this isn't racist, but guess what! Black people and white people AREN'T 100% the same, that's why they call them different "races". Does this mean there can't be a good black kicker or white running back? No, of course not, but in most cases, that's just how it works out.

I hate you Donovan McNabb. Always having to play his race card.

Off the top of my head:
black quarterbacks: Doug Williams, Randal Cunningham say hi
white wide receivers: Steve Largent says hi
black kickers: Reggie Roby says hi.
black tight ends: Shannon Sharpe, Winslow (the senior), Ben Coates, Gates all say hi.

I realize that many of these are ex players, but just because you don't remember them doesn't mean they didn't exist.

Tim Dwight is/was quite fast. Not the greatest receiver, but he also did track in college besides football.

The only asian I can remember was Eugene Chung (offensive lineman) for the Patriots in the late 80's or early 90's. He sucked though.

John Lee was a great collegiate kicker for UCLA(I believe) but sucked ass in the NFL.

Dat Nyguen is a pretty good linebacker though.

Ed McCaffrey, Denver Broncos. Didn't have HoF career but who will lined up opposite of Rod Smith. :) He did have one year with 100+ receptions.

The answer to these questions is racist in nature (but correct)

Deeko's got it right, it's all genetics. That doesn't mean one can't do the other, but one is pre-disposed to being better by nature.

Since we're all generalizing...

I'll go ahead and say what all the politically incorrects try to tiptoe around...

Black people are better athletes... bigger, faster, stronger
White people are better thinkers... analytical, decisive, composed

Generalizations to the extreme...but this is why you see more white QB's & Coaches... and more black RB's, WR's & etc...

Want another generalization? Black people cant play hockey...

Its not discrimination, its not prejudice... its just simple fact... we're different.

Rabbits dont climb trees, and squirrels dont dig holes into the ground.
