Well considering this forum subsection is "open" (you can view the threads without signing in), I'm surprised SETI.Germany or L'Alliance Francophone haven't already ramped up production to hold us back, or at least to keep us from advancing very quickly.

That or they share the same idea as we do, and are trying to get their 1st position for a project, while Correlizer is still young.

I just fired up my Q6600 @ 3.6, exclusively on Correlizer.

Edit: Gah! What's wrong? I woke up my Q6600's monitor, and BOINC says "ready to report" on all of the correlizer tasks. Only problem is, it's not processing new ones. The little network icon in the corner in Win7 shows that it has Internet access. Hmm.

Edit: I manually updated, and it downloaded some more WUs. Wierd.

Also strange, is that sometimes, when I install BOINC, it defaults to only 60% CPU usage, and I have to manually change that to 100%. I don't know why it does that, it didn't do that on my main machines.

Here is the thread from the SETI.Germany forum.

They really feel threatened and have declared an "Notfallseinsatz" - emergency.
It seems to me that they are running a "project" to gain 4 top placements in one shot - and that we are a threat for them to reach this goal.

That makes me think that they will fight very hard - thus we have a inter-team race ongoing!

Thus this got even more interesting - please join! :biggrin:

I generally stick to WCG but since this race was so tight and we were almost there, I joined...

My original intent was to help until end of October 31st but I will extend that until further notice - :biggrin:

What about letting the SET.Germany-race thread becoming the main thread for the race and let this thread sink down the list ...
Please stop posting in this thread if the issue at hand is the race with SETI.Germany, inproving the crunchin, adding, asslaminating, borghing computers, etc.

This thread has served us well, but now it is time to continue in the other one!

Well, except that my 20,000 ppd SETI top rig with 2 gpus is currently in pieces. I have an i7 920 @3.9 w/ a gtx 480 and an x6 1055t @ 3.25 w/ a gtx 260 that I can throw at this for a couple weeks at least.
