Hi,
A quick search of prior posts didn't turn up anything on this problem. I have a GA-8IHXP motherboard running an ATI 9700 Pro. Does great at gming. However, sometimes when booting up or coming out of STR sleep mode, the display reverts to 640x480, and WinXP pro says I need to reboot. AFter re-booting and logging in I get the error message:
STOP: 0x000000EA THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER (Q293078)
It appears to be caused by the video card device driver. I upgraded from Catalyst 3.0 to 3.1, and if anything the problem got worse. Has anyone else seen a problem like this?
TIA,
TF
