Don't forget folks, the R9 290 Tri-X will not overclock at all. So what blackened says here is absolute fact.![]()
Feel free to post benchmarks comparing the 290X tri-X overclocked to the Titan. Go for it. Go forth and google some reviews. I'm pulling data from objective reviewers, unless you want to argue that HardOCP, TPU, and Guru3d are lying.
Point remains. 290X stock == Titan stock performance.
If a GTX 780 is X% faster than Titan stock, it is faster than the 290X stock by the same percent. We have multiple web reviews providing the burden of proof that the aftermarket GTX 780 is overclocking to be 15-20% faster than the Titan. And as we know, 290X at stock is equal to the Titan. Therefore, if an overclocked GTX 780 is faster than the Titan by a percentage, it is similarly faster than the 290X by the same percentage, as I mentioned. As far as the Tri-X. So is the overclocked 290X Tri-X 15-20% faster than Titan? To this I do not know the answer - Find me some web reviews. Burden of proof is on you.
