i hope amd was telling the truth when they said upcoming drivers would greatly improve performance, because it seems like too much of a loss for $100 less.
I'm only skeptical because this card is right up my alley

New driver optimizations almost always improve performance over time. Usually gradual, but sometimes Nvidia/AMD can come up with dramatic improvements in specific games.

I think its supposed to be 6-10% difference; usually 6% - It looks to be one hell of a card

lol i wondered the same thing too, even the bf4 290x is a turn off with that guy on it. I will never buy a reference gfx card if it had such logos plastered over it.

I love it. Not that design specifically but the cheesy graphics yes. Reminds me of the old school cards.

They should have put some BF4 logos on it to make it look like you at least didn't get a card with a voucher and named it a special edition.

So true. Sometimes I quit gaming and just pull out my GPU box to stare at for a couple hours. I just can't fathom having that dorky picture in my home. :sneaky:
