How do I fix this so I can overclock on a permanent basis instead of only being able to do it manually each time?

All the tweakers say "Cannot start/find/etc R6PROBE, overclocking will be disabled"

I have a Abit BX6r2.0 motherboard and a Retail Built by ATI 8500 128MB

Thanks

Chris

I found the problem and it was causing a lot of other problems....

Apparently the old tweak of setting windows to optimize system cache does not work well in XP.

Changing my setting to Program Files allowed me to start r6probe....I can to manually do it with osrtool I found on rade3d.com.

to check this hit Windows - Break: goto Advanced->Performance->Settings->Advanced->Memory Usage

Set it to Program Files and reboot.

viola!

What makes your system a chiapet?
Is WinXP's mem management broken? or just poor. I thought it (win-XP) was supposd to be "better" than win2k...? I don't have it, just curious.

It's a Chiapet cause that's what the midget here calls it. ;)

XP mem management is better, but still a long way from perfect.
