R rated movies?

Its has to be a legal guardian.

Its kind wierd, you have to be 17 to see an R rated movie in the theater, but if you wanted to rent an R rated movie from Blockbuster you have to be 18.

not true, ive rented R movies from blockbuster for 4 years now, cuz my mom put my name on the account with no restriction.

Also, When i was 18 they wouldnt let me buy more than one R-Rated ticket. They said they couldnt sell more than one to anyone under 21.

Do you need to be 17 or 18 to go in?

Would it have been too difficult for you to simply look it up?

Everyone's getting so goddamned lazy nowadays that it's no wonder obesity is an epidemic..

why look it up when you can increase your post count.

No but his boss does.
I had this problem with Hollywood way back when I was 17.
Your parents have to give permission for you to rent R's.
Or just wait a year and get your own membership.

it really depends on your local theatre and how biatchy the ticketing agent feel at that point in time.

Under 17 requires accompanying parent or legal guardian.

All of the theaters around us card harder than most bars. It makes no sense. 😕

Really? I've never been carded for going to an R-rated movie.

i only got carded once and it was for the matrix. :|. just buy a ticket for a different movie and then just walk into the theater showing the one you want. even if they are being a-holes at the ticket counter they never watch the actual theatre doors.

I had that happen once too, couldn't buy one for my wife who was 19 but didn't have her ID. I haven't gone back to that theatre, what a load of bollocks. I used to see R movies all the time when I was 14, was never once carded even.
