holy crap you've got your head buried so far up R Kelly's ass you're seeing out of his mouth!

R Kelly is a lame fuck, I don't like him in the least bit. I'm not defending him in this thread, I'm saying HE'S NOT A RAPPER. I love rap and I hate R Kelly's music.

All publicity is good publicity.

This is it, really. He just wanted to get people to start talking about him again, good or bad. It's like Miley Virus, and too many others to mention, they'll readily sell what's left of their self-respect to stay in the public eye.

All publicity isn't good publicity, and it certainly doesn't always mean more sales.

Go look up what happened to Gary Glitters career. :D

They both were asked several times in interviews together what was up, but they both denied it. Shortly after the controversy, Aaliyah came out with the hit song "Age Ain't Nothing But a Number" which is a song in which she talks about having sex with an older man and how their ages don't matter.
So the 'victim' in this case has not only never claimed any harm came to her from the relationship but actually decided to write a song that rejects the criticisms (i.e. defends it)?

Something like that...and she was 14 when she started that album with the pedo...are you seriously arguing a 14 year old knew what she was doing?
How long does one generally need to determine whether a relationship was detrimental to them before they could comment on it or say it was a mistake....40 or 50? Millions have had benign or even favorable consensual relationshps that would be considered statutory rape. Hell, there have been songs written about in just about every genre, nearly all of them favorable from the perspective of the so-called "child".

So you are defending the pedo...hope you don't have children
