So sad to read this, he was a great basketball player and an outstanding musician. Every story I've ever heard about him people said he was basically the nicest guy you'd ever meet. I will raise a glass to the sky tonight and have a drink in his memory. You'll be missed bro.

Wayman Tisdale was the lynchpin of those old Mitch Richmon-Lionel Simmons-Billy Owens-Antoine Carr-Walt Williams Kings teams.

I'll always have a fond place in my heart for the "'Tizzy Flip".

I read about this earlier and it's pretty sad. Tisdale was one of my favorite Kings players back in the day, up there with Mitch Richmond and Spud Webb.

And to only be 44 on top of everything makes it even worse. I'm 34 and can't imagine my final breath being only 10 years away. They say the good die young, I'm sad I never got a chance to meet him. My EX has a hat he autographed for her when she saw him in Concert some years ago. I rarely get emotional, but I actually shed a few tear over this.

Life is so precious.

He was a great player. I don't even like basketball but I attended OU while he was there and I used to go watch him all the time.
