i have close friends that lost their 4 month old a while back. They still havent recovered.

I have a 9 month old. I'm not sure I'd ever "recover".

OP, there are no words to say at a time like this so I wont other than your family has My heartfelt condolences. I hope you guys find some way to cope with this tragedy. You have at least one more praying for you and your family.
 
Whenever I see those little caskets for little kids I get choked up... it's a shame they have to make any that small. 🙁

That's truly aweful. I'm sorry you and your son's family has to go through this. No one should have to go through something like this. I couldn't even begin to imagine the grief and heartache they must be going through. My daughter is now 9 weeks old and it's hard even reading about something like this let alone it actually happening to you or your loved ones.
 
Been a party to the sudden death of a child, and I still can't possibly fathom the loss you and your son have just experienced. Mourn, but most of all remember. Don't let time heal the wound by robbing you of your memories. Always remember. It's all you have left.
 
So sorry for your loss. My sincerest condolences and prayers for you and your family. As a father of two, I still can't even begin to contemplate the depth of your family's loss.

Oh no, I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a child is unfathomable, you're right-they should always outlive their parents. I'll be keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers...
