Actor Kevin Smith dies after fall in China

Leading New Zealand actor Kevin Smith has died in a Beijing hospital after he was critically injured in a fall.

His agent, Robert Bruce, confirmed that the 38-year-old actor had died.

This is too weird, the otherday when Howard K. Smith the journalist died I saw it on yahoo and only saw the K. Smith part at first. I was like oh now not Silent Bob! Then I was like whew. Then I saw this and I am like oh no! That is strange that in the space of 3 days both of these happened. I think smiths everywhere should be on the lookout.

Damn, that sucks, and just before the world and I actually knew who the hell he was. J/K, don't get all mad, it is sad when someone dies just before their major break in Hollywood, it's just that many people don't live lives even as charmed as his was. I feel for his family.

Hence the wording ' brink of an acting career breakthrough before his death'.
New Zealanders thought he would be their next Russel Crowe.
