O'Neill returns in the direct-to-DVD film Stargate Continuum in a supporting role; he is killed in the opening scenes but appears as an alternate version in another timeline and is subsequently saved by the three remaining SG-1 members from the original timeline who manage to restore it.

ah shush, I've got it getting dvr'ed right now anywya 😉

You know what really screws with my mind? Any story that has a time reset button. You realize that while you have an "happy" ending with all the characters back to where they are supposed to be. They are NOT the characters you know and love, because they died and the new guys just happen to look the same, because its an identical timeline.

The problem I have with Continuum is that they essentially did the same story in the season 8 episodes Moebius (parts 1 and 2).

except that's been done at least once already in the series, so those guys were the second guys we loved, and now we are on the third.

Those were two of my favorite SG-1 episodes which is why I still liked Continuum 🙂

It's a cut and paste sci-fi plot. Any loner running Sci-Fi series has at least one or two episodes of this.

They need to do more where they do a groundhog parody.

I always remember that because of the part where they are golfing through the stargate talking about the distance has to be a recond and then during the whole "during the backstroke" part.

It's no wonder why that episode always make the favorites list when SciFi does their viewer's choice marathons! 😀
