George Michael raises concerns with bloated appearance amid claims he returned to rehab - June 2015.
GEORGE MICHAEL looked noticeably different when he stepped out in Zurich this week, after it was reported he had checked himself into The Kusnacht Practice rehab centre. The Careless Whisper crooner's face looked bloated as he left a friend's art exhibition at the Swiss city's Baur au Lac Hotel on Monday night. "He attended as it started to get dark. It was clearly George, but it was pretty shocking to see how he looked," an onlooker told The Sun today.Meanwhile, The Sun also told how close friends had warned him: "You need to seek help or die." His close friend Jake Panayiotou told the newspaper: "He’s not well. I can’t say any more but we’re just wishing for him to get better."The Kusnacht Practice, which has previously treated fashion designer John Galliano, helps patients with drug and alcohol addictions, along with other disorders.

He was gay, had a partner die recently from AIDS, had sex with random partners in public toilets and had several near fatal bouts of "pneumonia".

I can't imagine what sort of non suspicious cause might have been responsible for his death

Yea, people do die from heart failure at 53 but they usually are people who either hated doctors and lived with hypertension, (high blood pressure) and crappy lifestyle. For someone with plenty of $$ and access to good medical care/screenings underlying issues are usually spotted and dealt with so sadly this might be another Prince type of deal. He was a truly gifted songwriter and singer as well and was well-known for helping people out so yea, this sucks, RIP GM..

Who could be next?

Val Kilmer

http://radaronline.com/celebrity-news/val-kilmer-sick-dying-actor-may-have-weeks-live/

The final curtain is near for tragic Val Kilmer — and friends said this holiday season may be the last for the gravely ill actor.

“Val’s on his last legs now,” a source close to the “Top Gun” star, who turns 57 on Dec. 31, told RadarOnline.com.

“He keeps trying to assure everyone he’s all right, but it’s clear he’s not. Things have gotten much, much worse.”

Gaunt, 89-pound Kilmer “looked like death warmed over” at a San Diego screening of the film version of his one-man show, Citizen Twain.

Kilmer’s clothes were hanging off his skeletal frame, and he clutched a bottle of mouth spray, which is frequently used to treat dry mouth and throat in cancer patients, on Dec. 9.

Dr. Stuart Fischer, a New York internist who has not treated Kilmer, said: “He looks gravely ill, and it appears he has a swelling on the right side of his neck. This does not look good.”

Careless Whisper is one of my favorite songs and the video was very good. Wake Me Up Before You Go Go is a good one too. Good time way back in the 80's and 90's, when music was really music and not Bierber and Auto tuned.

Crazy that he wrote it at 17. And awesome that he split writing credit with Andrew Ridgeley years later so he'd always have money.

Am I wrong, or was he not MUCH bigger as a solo artist than with Wham!? When Beyonce dies, will the headlines be "Ex-Destiny's Child Member Beyonce' Dies"?

George Michael: Post-mortem into singer's death 'inconclusive'

A post-mortem examination into the cause of George Michael's death was "inconclusive" police have said.

The star died aged 53 on Christmas Day at his home in Goring-on-Thames, Oxfordshire.

More tests will now be carried out to determine what led to his death, Thames Valley Police said in a statement. The results of these tests are unlikely to be known for several weeks.

Yeah, but it's like hooking up with the fat ugly chick that one time. Even though you went on to do much better in life your friends still remind you about it.

RIP George Michael. Your duet with Aretha Franklin is definitely on my preferred listening list.

Update:
"George Michael died of natural causes"
George Michael died of natural causes, a coroner has confirmed.

The pop star suffered a dilated cardiomyopathy with myocarditis and fatty liver, according to Darren Salter, senior coroner for Oxfordshire.

The star died aged 53 on Christmas Day at his home in Goring-on-Thames, Oxfordshire.

Thames Valley Police originally said his death was unexplained but not suspicious and an initial post-mortem examination was "inconclusive".

The coroner said in a statement: "Inquires into the death of George Michael have been concluded and the final post-mortem report received.

"As there is a confirmed natural cause of death, being dilated cardiomyopathy with myocarditis and fatty liver, the investigation is being discontinued and there is no need for an inquest or any further enquiries.

"No further updates will be provided and the family requests the media and public respect their privacy."

Alcoholism is a good cause of fatty liver.

(I'm NOT an expert on things like this). But my understanding is that they mean that there was no foul play as such (poisoning etc) and that at the time of his death he had not taken any over-doses etc. Hence the "Death by natural causes".

As with many other people, healthy lifestyles, exercising, eating well and being relatively stress free all help. As well as avoiding being over-weight, Alcohol, smoking and other usually harmful substances.
