As an somewhat fairly aged over the hill hippie baby boomer, I was somewhat shocked to see Elizabeth Taylor was only 79 when she died. She was a living legend ever since I was born, and IMHO, not someone I grew up to admire. But always in the news, long after she maybe have should have been.

From my point of view, its difficult to summon up any sense of loss at her passing, and at the same time its difficult to summon up any hatred in the life and times of Elizabeth Taylor's over publicized carrier.

But what the heck, I have no problem in saying RIP Elizabeth Taylor. And that she had an amazing career.

Death is always sad.

As someone who grew up as a child star, she still held it mostly together.
