I'm sure they all retracted the reports, but I remember reading that a couple of sources reported it thinking it was real.
 
I hate to start speculation but I wonder if Benoit or someone in his own family killed them all. He was supposed to be on the WWE PPV Vengeance last night:

CM Punk is on his way out to the ring. We have a chance to tonight's scheduled match for the vacant ECW Championship. Johnny Nitro will be replacing Chris Benoit. It was reported earlier tonight that Benoit had to leave Houston and head back home due to personal reasons. They didn't announce this change until right now.

Something sure as hell happened...you don't leave just to go home for no reason...something doesn't add up.

i don't know. they have broken charector a few times. usually when someone really retires (hahah yeah right) or someone dies.

it wouldnt suprise me if they continue the story arc. We all know its fake (god i hope everyone who watches it does).
