QX6850 Mobo-Crossfire or SLI?

Well I have been out of the game for a while and I won a new processor, so I want to build a new rig. I have a QX6850 and 4 gigs of Ballistix ram (2x2G). I have a spare Antec LanBoy Case and power supply. All I need now is a mother board and a set of graphics cards. I did overclock my last computer a lot, but that was 5 years ago, so I am a little rusty. I have a flexible budget, but I would like to stay under $250 for the mobo. As for the graphics cards, I have no clue what the current generation looks like, but would like SLI or Crossfire. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
