I've had their DSL for about 7 months now...it's worked flawlessly (can't complain there) and delivered consistant speeds.

I'm paying for 640 kbps down/256 kbps up - and they're were always within 90-95% of that speed...I stopped checking after about about the 2nd month.

In the last several months (about 3), I've noticed an almost imperceptible loss of speed - down only.

Sure enough, I checked the modem's web page (they configure everything remotely) using my issued IP address...they capped me @ 416 kbps without my knowledge and I'm still paying for 640 kbps!

I'm NOT happy :(

You also have the Arescom... did you notice with that last Formware update we can't do $h!t with out connections :|

I used to be able to host games like AOE2 and I had a FTP site for sending small things from work... none of that works anymore :|

ATT is putting in a brand new system in my area, they started 3 weeks ago... then it's cable time for me.

Edit, also how do you like that subnet we get?? 1 F'N PC!?!?

they should call it MSN Droneband, all we are allowed to do is get our E-mail and surf the web... can't wait for the next firmware update so they can take something else away

Nice...I just ordered ATT Broadband today (got the flyer in my box today!)...I'll let you know how it goes.

Oh, I know! The Arescom is horrible! I would've bought my own except they're too much money...but I will be buying my own Cable Modem/Router (suggestions anyone?)!
