Mods and webmasters, would it be a feasible option to add a feature that adds the name of the user at the top when you quote someone's message when you click on "quote"?

When a thread gets long and there are quotes everywhere, it can get confusing who said what and newsgroup readers and many other forums already use this.

Most newsgroup appears like this and this would be a great additional feature to AT forums

"author name" wrote in message:
"group name"

>"their message body"

"your composition"

What do you guys think?

It's not a huge deal, but yes, I can see some value in having the author's name tagged to the quote.

I think it would be kind of annoying and make the threads even longer since in theory posts would be longer by adding the extra lines. Well just my opinion.

Wouldn't take that much additional space.

Two things:

1) It will only make threads and posts longer (which is definately no helpful).

2) Highlight Text, ctrl-c, ctrl-v (rocket science)

It would have to be customizable, as Red would usually want to say something like:

Poster bent over, spread his cheeks, and out came:

So I doubt it will ever happen.
