subway is retarded. they over stuff the sandwich and it comes pouring out or breaks the bread. quality > quantity.

😕

I dont think ive ever had a problem with subway giving too much product. (Except mayo, those assholes)

JJ is pretty good, but they cost way too much for what you get IMO.

$4.50 for a sandwich that actually tastes good rather than 2 slices of turkey on shitty bread with plastic vegetables (i'm looking at you, subway) is 'way too much'?

Prices vary by area... Here in East Lansing, they're $4.25. The Gargantuan is $7.25. Which for $2.25 more than a 5 dollar foot long is soooo much better.

local place by me that no one has heard of or has access to FTW! their stuff is soooo good if you don't like it you are fail.

Another vote for Firehouse.

All the subs they sell are hot, which is a minus as my wife does not usually enjoy hot tubes of meat besides mine.

A friend of mine went to school in Boston for a while and he said while he was there, he got a sandwich at a place called Cappy's every day. Anyone else know about them? He said they had one of the best deals in town - a huge sub for $6 (granted, everything in Boston is expensive).

Subway is the superior choice by considerable margin in my view. There was a Quiznos in the basement of my college dorm and instead of going there I would walk half a mile to Subway baring any inclement weather.

I agree. Subway has always been the better sub choice. I don't really get why people love Quiznos so much. To me they are overpriced and are generally lacking on taste/subsistence. They are kinda like Starbucks, all brand name and fluff but a generally shitty product.

and the best sub I've ever had was from a Dibella's in Rochester, NY.

And a good contender to Dibella's is Wegman's. God their subs rock! That's about the only thing I miss about NY.

That's because Wegmans' subs essentially ARE DiBella's subs. I believe that they have some sort of partnership. I couldn't find any official announcements with a quick Google search, but I remember when the Wegmans sub shops were first launched, the word was that they were "taught" how to make DiBella's subs.

Favorite chain sandwich place for me is Schlotsky's. I haven't had a good Subway sandwich in years. Have had good experiences at Quiznos. In terms of value, I think my favorite chain place is Lenny's.

I dont know were you went, but when I see people order turkey they layer that shit, and no they did not order double. Bread is good, and veggies are fresh, I guess you have something against them ;shurg;

every subway i've been to carefully counts out exactly how many slices of meat go on each sub. maybe it's 3 slices of turkey for a 6", but whatever it is, it isn't a lot. not to mention subway's turkey is absolutely flavorless.

if you think fresh veggies come from the farm sliced and bagged, then yes, they are fresh.

not only does subway's bread have about as much quality as off brand grocery store white bread, the 'artists' around here like to smash it so it stays open while they put the meager fixings in the sandwich.
