i have japanese friends, but as a general rule, i don't buy japanese cars etc. i have resigned myself to the fact that i will not be able to avoid all japanese products completely, but i draw the line at cars.

so you're one of those fvcking koreans who do that eh? you fvcking byungshin. I hate those who can't abandon the past. We weren't even fvcking born during that era you fvcking g00k. I'm korean, so I can call you a goook got that? I'm korean, and i never lived during that era. I live in TODAY'S ERA OF UNDERSTANDING AND TRADE. I'M KOREAN, and i ONLY BUY MADE IN JAPAN PRODUCTS BECAUSE THEY'RE THE BEST. WOULD I BUY A HYUNDAI OVER A HONDA?!!? WTF?!?! I only hope your kids won't rub off on your stupid mindset gae seki..

I wish I hadn't read this..... 🙁

I wish I hadn't read all the "funny" replies.. very degrading.

Yeah... almost as bad as eating people alive....

Yeah, right up there. Of course eating a person alive is worse, but person laughing about it, not a lot better off. Maybe because it's a Brutuskend thread, every now & then he gets serious and the crowd can't comprehend.

I would like to state for the record that spoken Chinese is the most horrible language ever spoken on this planet.

no it's not.

I know i'm going to go to hell for this but, what the hell:

one language I cannot stand is vietnamese. I truely truely apologize to you viet people. I mean no offense whatsoever. But damn, these transfer students from vietnam was studying nearby (eng students), and they kept talking in vietnamese. It sounded like...stretched rubber bands being plucked.

It annoyed the hell out of me. I have vietnamese friends. I don't hate vietnamese people, even though some viet thugs robbed my home at gunpoint a couple years ago.

it just irritated me on a physical lvl. Logically, I want to show respect and I really don't mean no harm by saying this. But damn on a physical lvl, it brought chills down my spine and almost a pain..

the body speaks louder than the mind...

*apologizes to vietnamese people in this forum*

*runs*

ehh on another note, german sounds like a bunch of barks and spits.. *runs even faster*

😛

I'd do it if I had to to survive... Probably would draw the line at people I knew though. Most definitely wouldn't like it.

Btw uptight people - if you haven't realized by now that humor is a way many choose to cope with uncomfortable thoughts/situations, smoke a damn jay and calm down a bit, nobody can change what happened. The comment about getting hungry an hour later was particularly funny

You should listen to Korean, absolutely the worst tone any language can have! It sounds like they are constantly arguing with one another.

whoa is this real??

never heard about this from my history lessons!!

<--- citizen of a south east asian country

hmm talk about fresh sashimi!!

😀😀

I dunno but the typical whiny stupid uneducated teenage Japanese girls pretty much horrifies me too when they speak. But I guess Cantonese is one hell of a sloppy sounding language 😛

atleast this type of atrocity was done in the name of survival. i consider using live chinese peasants strapped to a tree as bayonnet practice or a game between soldiers to be worse.

My vote for worst sounding language is Alaskan Native (all dialects). Sound like you are in the middle of hacking up a lung.

That could also be said of German

Nein!

Vietnamese is the worst, followed by Korean, then Cantonese (especially from HK).

(QUOTE) Starving Japanese combat troops used battles as a hunt for food, but noncombat units had to devise other means. Japanese officials dispatched an engineering battalion deep into the interior of what is now Indonesia. The engineering battalion used Indo-Pakistani POW's, former Commonwealth soldiers captured in the fall of Singapore, as slave laborers. One of those soldiers was Hantam Ali. Ali had been aware that sick prisoners unable to work were immediately shot or given lethal injections and then eaten by the Japanese. But by 1944, the Allies were closing in. the supply lines had been cut, and the Japanese had started to eat live, healthy prisoners. Ali told his harrowing story to Australian investigators: "Those selected were taken to a hut where flesh was cut from their bodies while they were alive and they were then thrown into a ditch where they later died. When flesh was being cut from those selected terrible cries and shrieks came from them and also from the ditch where they were later thrown. The cries used to gradually dim down when the unfortunate individuals were dying. We were not allowed to go near this ditch, no earth was thrown on the bodies and the smell was terrible."

The reason the Japanese butchers didn't kill the prisoners outright was that in the tropics, with no refrigeration, the meat quickly rotted So they would just hack off parts of the body to provide a meal without killing the prisoner, then toss him in a ditch, where he would survive another day or two, thereby ensuring that his internal organs remained fresh for later consumption. Ears, noses, lips. cheeks, toes, palms, buttocks, shoulders, and thighs were cut and eaten while the main course remained preserved.

The abandonment of troops with no concern for their well fair was a monstrous crime committed by the Spirit Warriors. The starving Japanese boys were brutalized too. But the debased officers like General Tachibana and Major Matoba, rather than seeing the horror in their comrades' predicament, reveled in the morbid stories as they drank themselves into their nightly stupors. (QUOTE)

The above passage was taken from the book "Flyboys" by James Bradley.
More info on WWII POW's can be found here

🙁 most of the Japanese Army recruits sent abroad were from places the Japanese previosly occupied like: Cannibals and headhunters may have been among those recruits. It is also a well know fact (at least in the Japanese occupied countries) that the most savage among the "Japanese Army" occupiers are the non-Japanese recruits. :Q
