Damn that's old...and it's quite likely I saw that on TV when it came out...my parents watched "The Smothers Brothers" every week...

I ROFL @ the style of dress...in that performance, they were still riding the coat-tails of the folk music wave that started in the early 60's, and most "non-rock" performers still wore ties in concert...contrast that performance with this one from about 2-3 years later:

dress style was a little "more hip" and OMG, they had grown their hair long! Sort of the David Cassidy look...😉

But they were hella popular in their day...
 
A very good song. In fact of the 150 or so songs i put on cds to keep in my van when i tire of the radio, Along Comes Mary made the cut.
