Quite 80mm fan

Am tired of screaming 60mm fans; so have decided on PAL8045 HS.

Question is what fan to use. Have heard many good reports on Panaflow fans. They turn around 4K at about 40dba. The YS Tech fan has a variable resistor and you can adjust the cooling to a bearable noise level. In chart below; varables are shown:

RPM 800 ~ 3700
CFM 10 ~ 48
dba 18 ~ 40

Don't think that it would be any more noisy than Panaflow and you would be able to adjust to your confort level.

Your comments Please!!

Depends on what processor you're using. Also, how much you wanna overclock. Personally, I'd go with a low speed Panaflo which runs at about 23dBa with about 25 cfm.... The Alpha is so efficient, you don't need more than that really. Unless you wanna overclock a ton. Check out bgmicro.com for the panaflos, or an NMB fan is available through the HD forum. Good luck
