So on the big board of corruption, we have what? The GOP with 10 and the Dems with 1? That sound about right?

Oh yeah, only an attorney (general) could use a phrase like "co-equal." Geeeeeze.

Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez, whose Justice Department approved the raid, has tried to strike a conciliatory note. He emphasized that he has "a great deal of respect for the Congress as a co-equal branch of government."

damn, the whole place should just been flushed clean and we should start over with new representatives. This could be big folks. Indian casinos, convicted lobbyists ... I wonder who that could be?

Are you only counting active members of congress or are you including the ones who recently resigned in disgrace or are currently incarcerated as well? (Trafficant, Toricelli et al)

Not that it matters... The whole place needs to be purged.
