what about this fan:

Arctic Cooling for the Super Silent Pro TC -

Cooler Dimension: 90x82x73 mm Max. Air Flow: 11 CFM at 1000 RPM
Fan Dimension: 80x80x23 mm 36 CFM at 3500 RPM
Rated Voltage: 12VDC
Connector: 3 PIN Noise: 10 dB at 1000 RPM
Compatibility List: Intel Pentium III up to 2.2Ghz 32 dB at 3500 RPM
Duron up to 2.2Ghz
AMD Athlon XP up to 2400+

how do you vary the speed or does it do it automatically..my msi bios doesn't allow me to change fan speed

thanks for the info

It varies the speed by itself.

I have one on my Athlon XP 1800+. Works fine. Temps are quite a bit higher on average but that doesn't seem to be an issue.

I try to get the Y. S. TECH as the CPU fan - it's fully adjustable and even at the high speed you can hardly hear it.
It can move a tremoundous amount of air when needed. I have removed Deltas, Panaflos, Antec SmartFans, and the overpriced and dissapointing ThermalTake SmartFan-2 and replaced with the Y.S. Tech. It's a hard fan to beat.
