Quietest DVD Burner

I'm deciding between the NEC 3540A and the Pioneer 109. Which would you guys say is quieter.

Are there other quieter options that perform as well as the above two?

I personally own an NEC and I can barely hear the thing even running.

I've heard that the dvr-109 cross-flashed with the A09 firmware is near-silent.

i have the dvr 109 and it's quiet, don't hear anything while i burn...

i've got a plextor px-716sa, and seems quiet to me

The nec is very quiet and I like it that way, so I haven't bothered with disabling the riplock.

I think everyone here is going to say their burner is silent, cause all are damn near close to it, including my BenQ DW1620 Pro 😉

thanks for the replies everyone! i think i'm just going to get nec 3540a just cause of the price since both are quiet.
